Ex VAT
In short: A price shown without VAT or sales tax, which is added at checkout.
Many hosts show prices ex VAT, even to consumers, and add tax when you pay. In the UK, 20% VAT turns a £10 price into £12.
On Serverlinx, prices in pounds include VAT unless they're labelled 'ex VAT'. US prices are usually shown before sales tax.
