Renewal price
The renewal price is the host's standard price. It's usually shown in smaller type near the deal, for example 'renews at' a monthly figure, and it applies from your second term for as long as you stay.
Example: you buy a 12-month plan at an intro price. In month 13 the plan renews automatically, and every month after that is charged at the renewal price. If the renewal is three times the intro price, your second year costs three times your first.
Renewal prices can also change while you're a customer. Hosts usually tell you by email before a new price applies, so read renewal notices rather than filing them away.
What it means for your price: it's the most important number on a pricing page, because it's what you'll pay for most of the time you're with a host. Serverlinx ranks every plan on its true 3-year cost, renewal included.
How to check yours: find 'renews at' on the host's pricing page, or look in your account for the next invoice amount. If it has gone up, compare it with what other hosts charge. Moving just before renewal avoids paying for a term you don't want. More in why hosting renewal prices go up.
